Man injured in broad daylight assault in Limerick

LIMERICK gardai are investigating after a man was injured in a broad

daylight assault in the city centre.

A garda spokesperson confirmed they received a report of an assault

that occurred at approximately 1.15pm on Saturday, July 6 on Patrick

Street in Limerick city.

"A man in his 30s was injured and received medical treatment at the

scene. A technical examination of the scene has been conducted.

"Investigations into this incident are ongoing," said the garda

spokesperson.
