Every Unspeakable Thing

I remember nationalism ��s glorious breath
loaded on schnapps and garlic pasta
slurring every unspeakable thing about Them
waving their bottle in justification
xenophobia leaking down their chin

and later, changing their sheets
holding their hair over their pure white throne
just  �� let it all out, get it done, go home
that I may be alone here

my beloved country closed to me
