Little Schemer got basically milkshake-ducked for me.

The Murderbot series of novellas though: so far, so good.

I once again was looking at the amber toned CRTs of my youth, probably partly inspired by the TVA in Loki.

I spent some time looking to see if you can use a custom shader with Wayland and I cannot see how. I did find some instructions for doing it with X11, I might try it and decide if I want to switch back.

tbh Wayland has not been a big win and many things (for me) are worse, such as keyboard handling. The one thing which _is_ better, is that multitouch gestures work out of the box with Firefox and Chrome for Wayland. (And I have a Chromebook with a touchscreen, running Ubuntu).

In the end, I didn't really need a custom shader, at least for the terminal. I just set my foreground color to amber, told TERM=vt100 and run `tmux` and my whole world is (two) shades of amber.

(but but but I might try it anyway, for the kick of being able to browse the web in monochrome)
