People with experience using screen readers: what is it like when people use Unicode superscript numbers鹿 to create footnotes in their gemtext documents? Is it a better experience if they use parenthetical statements instead? What about using these footnotes to simulate inline links?

@dimitrigorvachov Thanks! I don't have access to an iPhone at the moment, but I'll have to try that out when the opportunity presents itself. 路 2 years ago

@dimitrigorvachov What screen reader and Gemini browser do you use, by the way? 路 2 years ago

In my case, I like the one with superscripts, but that could be me. I don't know of any other screen reader users on station, but that's my take 路 2 years ago

@dimitrigorvachov It seems a bit hard to demonstrate on Station because of how it strips out links. Here's a short test page I put together to demonstrate what I'm talking about:

can you give an example of what you mean? I'm a screen reader user and I don't understand what you're asking 路 2 years ago
