Another small question I wanna ask, can you extend or shorten an identity's expiration date?

certificate expiration is a security feature. Extending it (for the same key) would break your ablity to trust it. · 2 years ago
Once an identity (certificate) is created, the expiration time cannot be changed.
The best one can do is create a new certificate using the same key pair and a different expiration date. Some servers may recognize that the public key is the same as the old certificate, but it is not guaranteed. · 2 years ago
