gemini.circumlunar.space seems outdated

Will solderpunk eventually return or should we run a maintained
instance of the site?

don't know about the outer points you mentioned, but the Italian
translation, albeit almost done, it's not yet 100% finished.

it's also worth mentioning that the https site seems to have an expired
certificate, making it inaccessible because it also has hsts enabled.

it wouldn't hurt to start mirroring/backing up the content on there just
in case, though i assume they're just busy managing other things right
now.

The certificate also seems to be expired which is arguably an even bigger problem.

This has been reported to Solderpunk (by me and certainly by other
persons), without results. This is obviously a big crisis for Gemini.

See the thread "(?) Let's update the website" for a discussion about
possible solutions.

This seems to be fixed. I can presently visit gemini.circumlunar.space
on https without getting a certificate error.

They are now <gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/translations.gmi>.

Several changes were made in the last days. It seems that the response
time of the complete process is highly variable and unpredictable.

I encourage people to follow the FAQ
<gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/faq.gmi>, section 4.2 and
submit patches. I don't know if they will always be processed quickly
but I made a patch this morning which was online before lunch.
