[2021-10-29T06:36:27Z] Hi [2021-10-29T06:36:42Z] How this channel suddenly die since a few days ago [2021-10-29T06:41:05Z] did this* [2021-10-29T10:24:48Z] it's a good question [2021-10-29T10:25:03Z] i for one have been a lot busier with uni [2021-10-29T12:49:36Z] I just assume people are busier and there aren't any new users aware of it coming in to ask questions [2021-10-29T14:04:53Z] dilyn: https://tmp.bvnf.space/0001-neomutt-bump-to-20211029.patch [2021-10-29T14:06:04Z] tyty [2021-10-29T17:55:53Z] I got addicted to factorio and it's preventing me to do anything else [2021-10-29T18:06:01Z] Nice [2021-10-29T20:34:08Z] hi! I was updating the kakoune package and was wondering: should I use the VERSION keyword inside the sources files, to stay coherent with upstream? [2021-10-29T20:34:21Z] s/files/file/ [2021-10-29T20:39:05Z] brb, gonna switch to my main machine [2021-10-29T20:51:14Z] here I am [2021-10-29T21:25:47Z] you can do whichever you prefer [2021-10-29T22:09:18Z] I use VERSION because that's what the core repo is switching to [2021-10-29T22:18:00Z] rio6: yeah that's the reason I was asking this [2021-10-29T22:21:21Z] I've actively decided to not institute a requirement for (what I think) is a good reason. The kiss-community repositories are now free of the rules and regulations surrounding the official repositories, so we can now allow more things (like obstack or fts, previously restricted from inclusion, or even more insane things if someone really wants to). [2021-10-29T22:21:21Z] We are only beholden to our own standards now, and part of that is what the community's standards are. the community was (is?) relatively split on this implementation decision by Dylan, and our repositories can safely reflect that [2021-10-29T22:35:15Z] Yeah I'm still not completely with that decision for reasons which are slowly growning more and more [2021-10-29T22:36:05Z] Really personal stuff though, I can see why it was implemented, it just feels wrong to me and I think I'm starting to get why [2021-10-29T23:11:53Z] anyways I'll keep it simple and avoid the variable altogether
