First off, rest in power to the victims of the Q Club shooting. Its become apparent to me that the end game to the rights consist attacks on LGBTQ people are only going to get worse. They are emboldened. You don't have to search far to find extremely hateful and bigoted takes on this shooting. I'm not talking about 4chan, I'm seeing this on Facebook, I'm seeing this on Twitter. The right wants us dead. The attacks will get more common. MORE PEOPLE WILL DIE. That is a fact. Replace "LGBT" or "trans" with "Jew" and the conservative agenda becomes clear. Either we as a nation stand and reject this hateful rhetoric, or there is a very real chance that people like me, and my friends, and my peers are rounded up and put into camps.

It is terrifying, because quite frankly, I don't see that rejection happening. The propaganda is strong. I've seen good people go full crazy. Family, friends, good people who suddenly can't go a conversion without talking about how the teachers are turning kids Trans, or that straight white men are somehow the victims of all this. I see the cheering on of the shooter in the Facebook comments, in the Instagram comments, everywhere that isn't explicitly and utterly pro-LGBT.

But you know what? I'm not scared. We aren't scared of the conservatives. We aren't scared of the small men with their big guns. They are scared of us. They are afraid of all the love and acceptance we get in our communities. They are afraid of the changes happening. You cannot. You will not force us back into the closet. We're here, and we're queen. That's a fact.
