CORK minor football manager Micheál ‘Haulie’ O’Sullivan has made no
changes to the starting 15 which dispatched Clare last week for
Monday's Electric Ireland Munster minor football championship final
against Kerry in Páirc Uí Rinn (7.30pm).
It’s no surprise that the Cork management have made no alterations to
the team considering the manner of the 1-13 to 0-8 win over Clare in
Quilty last Tuesday in the semi-final. It was expected to be a close
affair but the Rebels made it look relatively easy with an accomplished
display. At times, O’Sullivan’s charges were devastating and put their
opposition to the sword when they wanted to.

The Banner did have a player sent off before the break but the game was
effectively over at that point as Cork led 1-7 to 0-1. Dylan O’Neill
was without doubt the player of the match above in Clare with the
Carbery Rangers player knocking over 0-6 (five from play).
The Rebels will come into tomorrow's decider with a fair amount of
confidence but they do come up against a Kerry side who only beat them
two weeks ago at the quarter-final stage by two points at Austin Stack
Park in Tralee. In what was a tame encounter with both sides not fully
showing their hand with the high likelihood they would meet again,
Kerry prevailed 0-12 to 1-7.

The Leesiders are going for their third provincial title in four
seasons. No matter what happens at Páirc Uí Rinn, both sides will
progress to the All-Ireland series.
