07/09/2021 (things i learned)

- komunitas berpagar - gated communities, difficulty in defining and categorizing, and very revealing about local situation in the attempt to do so. Security, class, environmentalism, space, etc.

- Indonesian really has a problem with their biliun and triliun.

- Indonesia inequality (at least in cities) increased since 1997 financial crisis

- Gini coefficient numbers, almost all are 0.2-0.5. Tax & wealth redistribution reduces gini coefficient.

uncontacted peoples

- Now there's a vocal international west papuan separationist group, need to read more about this. Torture?

- Germany committed genocide in Namibia after berlin conference

- Dependency theory - **Open Veins of Latin America**, now this i have to read. Informative prose, that's what i think id call it lol

- Fanon wasn't as good as imagined? Written for a different time for different people

- Platonism and Theism, twitter is really good for brainstorming. I agree, the connection is superficial but actually connecting them is unfit-able

- Three completely different learning styles lol, watched 1 hour of presentation for GC (not garbage collection; gated communities.), then jumped around hackernews, random sites and skimmed books, then finally twitter threads xD

- also i've been meaning to note that i'm probably an interesting linguistic case study. Like typical malaysian english lah, but with explicit clashing of cultures. Meta-inspection ruins it tho, so impossible to study?

- damn btw, too excited didnt sleep. Stupid sawa/sanca excitement, shouldve known better

- wireframes and storyboards (draw.io is really good tbh, just that the task of designing is frustrating itself, but btw tf is that file format yucksss but good enough i guess? better be open source)

- Gitlab ssh and private token access, gitlab is pretty f-ing good

- sawalang & sanca proposal, website?

- hm the javascript group work did increase my self-confidence in leadership haha

- why the fuck am i so annoyed with kameryn williams

- here's what im thinking: metaphysics/ontology of maths affects syllabus and what mathematical objects are being specifically discussed, classical mathematics is most widespread. Experiences of exclusion happen under explicit learning topics, that is it is not independent of material being learned. Thus platonism is conservative as educational tooling & infrastructure is very well built, whereas others have little to none and has room for reimagining mathematics.

- so proud of my twitter interaction :') Wait for the right moment and brainstorm what would be the most effective argument

- https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/psychologism Anti-psychologist arguments frege and husserl (holy fuck i really dont care)

- wikimedia dumps... trying to figure out how it's all structured. fucking cool thoo, imagine having whole wikipedia in ur hands 700MB+ -> 3GB+, not bad bz2

- fela kuti on red speakers is sooooo much better

- ugh so lazy to write my own word counter.

- omg Look and Laugh gives me smart lean/metamath vibes sooo much. like the rush and the intellect weeshh, i owned the world. Ahhh i see, i was an imperial student at the time... wow that was a journey back

- wtf i have so few mentions of Fela Kuti in my gemlogs??? But it was such a big part of me... I think i started my gemlogs a little late haish, i wouldve loved to read my everyday thoughts during Lean/Metamath sessions. OHHHH I also refused to write down people's names.... that's dumb LOL

- wtf twitter make my laptop cry :(
