Fri 29 Dec 2023 02:34:05 AM UTC Updated my home desktop machine recently ( LMDE 5 -> 6 ) and have been going through the various helper scripts, fixing bugs, adding features, etc. One is a Wireguard peer manager made for managing ProtonVPN peers that uses the zenity(1) tool as a decent looking GUI. I made this when I found the ProtonVPN Linux client did not work well the further one gets from Gnome-derived DEs, i.e. the Dwm tiling window manager from the suckless.org project. Anyway, the peer manager worked fine after the upgrade but I found some things I thought could be done better as well as wanting the ability to enable/disable a peer at boot-time from the GUI: http://rawtext.club/~zilog/protonvpn/index.html With the exception of the wireguard* and openresolv packages everything else usually is native in distributions like Linux Mint Debian Edition.
