Something huge, ideally.
Managed to get myself into a little accident a few days after my first post here. Got out of the hospital a couple of days before Christmas, sans motorbike and with a shiny new grudge and 34 even shinier implants. Hit and run is always a crappy way to conduct oneself, but the fact it happened a month before my son's first Christmas and I damn near ended up missing that one and all that followed really irks me something chronic.
Still, here's to good company and nice surroundings. I won't be taking that sort of thing for granted like I used to, I can promise that.
Cheers.
Ouch! --- Howdy, fellow cyclist!
~bartender? Hot chocolate, of course. With spices, yes. It shall burn its way down! Thank you so much.
I have been very very lucky. All in all I went maybe 230000 km on motorcycle over 35 years. I hit an animal once and fell, and I slipped on ice and water a few times. But other than replacing parts on the bike and replacing the damaged suit --- I have been lucky!
That being said, I think, my times of motorcycling are over, but I did really appreciate the times on two wheels. A lot! Fond memories.
Well, I do wish that you can muster the patience to recover. That has always been the hardest part for me. Currently I have to deal with an issue with my eyes, and it will drag on another 2 months, it seems. Sigh.
Cheers, take care!
Sorry to hear about your accident, and I'm not sure how to put it into words. I wonder what happened to the person who caused the accident. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hoping nothing but good vibes come your way in the coming year.
