I don't know what to tell you two. There are zero steps with using anauto-configured self-signed certificate. It requires no ongoingmaintenance. There are 5 or 6 steps involved in using Let's Encrypt, andyou have to top it up every 80 days.
You're simply wrong. It's not easier, and that's a fact.
