< I miss the snow!

I come from Southern Italy, we don't get snow. When I moved to the US, the first time it snowed I was thrilled.

Then I realized how _inconvenient_ the snow is. I am in the Windy City now, and dread the day true cold will befall upon us.

Ooh, my partner's family is based in Chicago and he's back over there for Christmas, so I tend to enjoy his stories of the snow. Apparently, the snow hasn't hit yet (though that might just be his neighbourhood).

I'm super curious about how the US compares to Southern Italy now, so if you've ever got time I'd love to hear all about it!
