My first favorite page on Gemini... Geddit!

gemini://geddit.glv.one/

Geddit, like Reddit, is an online sharing place where people say stuff and share it too. Obviously, it is also not like Reddit, because it is missing some visual elements and such. Nevertheless, Geddit has opened us the Gemini-verse for me by introducing new, unique pages for me to stare at.

"Learn about new Gemini sites and pages on Geddit. Geddit is anonymous, there is no IP tracking."

Super comforting to hear! After some browsing, I realized that Geddit is my new launchpad where I can blast-off into anyone's interest. For example, there's this page:

gemini://tilde.team/~stack/index.gmi

Here, I played this spelling game where I was instructed to construct as many words as I can from the provided 7 letters, remembering to always use the center letter. I couldn't use any names, places or nationalities, but using the same letters more than once was fine. It was a hard game to play! These Gemini games are super complicated. Like this other link:

gemini://jdj.golf/mazzes/

I mean, it's just a bunch of mazes. That's awesome! I thought I left mazes on the kids menu at Denny's! It's weird that while Gemini is still a text-based thing, people still slip in images and other fun games.

I listened to some breezy seasonal lofi while failing at mazes:

gemini://konpeito.media/

I like lofi music. I don't like mazes.

Geddit is still very bare. I tried scrolling to a second page of results and posts, but found myself stuck at the bottom of the page. Why is that? Why is there no option to show more posts? Is it a Snapchat thing, where people's post disappear after a certain time? I'll look into it more, but for now... Geddit and Reddit are super different.
