Thanks for the recommendation! I've actually lived near a UU church for 5 years or so now and have never gone. I think that if I'm honest, I'll never really settle into any kind of group quasi religion, but I'll also probably never stop thinking I need it. Maybe there's a half life for how intense those desires are? Maybe when I have been away from the church for as long as I was active in it, then I won't feel that 'lack' anymore... until then, it's nice to find community online in places like this.
