I've begun with the UI experiments. First point of inquiry: how best to present forms with simple, single-line inputs? Two approaches immediately came to mind:
gemini://alpha.lyk.so/
gemini://beta.lyk.so/
I'm interested in hearing opinions about the two approaches.
Next up will be experiments in long-form composition from within Gemini.

@iam Yeah, I suppose it really only makes sense for optional fields on forms, right? Though something also bothers me about the idea of only having that control on *some* fields and not others. 路 2 years ago
@lykso unset link is more pleasant, but, IMHO, in real application not everywhere needed. User can also click on it by mistake. 路 2 years ago
@iam @marginalia Whoops! Moved to a new directory for profile data but forgot I'd told rsync to ignore the parent directory. Should work now. 路 2 years ago
@lykso I am getting Temporary Failure on setting name in both alpha and beta 路 2 years ago
@iam The difference is how you empty the form field once it's set. In "alpha" you enter a "-"; in "beta" there's a link specifically for that.
@marginalia Strange. Seems to be working now. Is it still broken for you? 路 2 years ago
What's the difference? In additional linebreakes only? 路 2 years ago
Got 'bad request' accessing them both :-( 路 2 years ago
