Bridget (Bridie) Doherty (née Sweeney), Castleview Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Bridget (Bridie) Doherty (née Sweeney),
2nd November 2023, beloved wife of the late Billy, Castleview Park,
loving mother of Anne and Margaret, mother-in-law of Danny and Don,
devoted grandmother of David, Bronagh, Eimear, Eadaoin and the late
James and cherished great-grandmother of Ava, Noah and Lana. Bridie's
remains will be reposing in her daughter Margaret's home, 20 Aberfoyle
Crescent, from 12 noon - 9.00pm on Saturday. Funeral from there on
Sunday at 11.40am for 12.15pm funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes
Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family

beloved husband of Marita, 29 Mallory Park, Eglinton, loving father of
Susan and Shelly and a much loved father-in-law, grandfather and

The death has taken place of Rosemary Elizabeth (Rose) Hutchinson, 2nd
November 2023, peacefully at the Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital,
53 Drumagarner Road, Kilrea, much loved wife of Campbell, precious mum
of Peter and Sharon, dear mother-in-law of Karen and Melvin and a
loving granny of Susanna, Abigail, Joshua, Noah and Lydia. Service of
Thanksgiving in Second Kilrea Presbyterian Church on Monday at 2.00pm.

The death has taken place of Peter Lagan, 2nd November 2023, 19
Ballygruby Road, Moneymore BT45 7XG, peacefully after a short illness.
Dear brother of Sean, Martin, Ann (McCafferty), Brigid (McCallion),
Bernadette (Rooney) and the late James and Louis (R.I.P). Son of the
late Michael and Mary Alice (R.I.P). Peters’ remains are reposing at
his family home. Removal from there on Saturday, 4th November at 3.15pm
going to St John and St Trea Church, Moneymore (arriving at 4.00pm) to
repose overnight. Requiem Mass there on Sunday at 11.30am with burial

Rosaleen McCallion (née O'Kane), 7 Nualamont Drive, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Rosaleen
McCallion (née O'Kane), peacefully at her home on 3rd November 2023.
Late of 7 Nualamont Drive and formerly of 17a Dove Gardens. May she
rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Devoted mother of
Sinead, Martin, Barry and the late Eamon and Ella. Loving grandmother
of Kerrie, Amy, Darren, Caomhan and Ryan. A much loved sister to all of
her brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of
her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Rosaleen’s remains are
now reposing at her late residence, 7 Nualamont Drive. Funeral leaving
from there on Monday, 6th November at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass
in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately

Danielle and Gerry, devoted grandmother of Oisín, Lorcán, Eolánn and
Caoimhín and dear sister of Sadie and the late Josie, Isaac, Pat, John
and Hugh. Her remains will be reposing in her home from 12noon – 9.00pm
on Saturday. Funeral from there on Sunday at 12.30pm for 1o’clock
funeral Mass in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in
