a space case for transparent gemtext compression

Hi Christian, yes, there's my compression - but it's not transparent: ittakes 4 user actions. So unless a client automatically opens and displays agzipped gemtext there is no way to have a near instantly readable andextracted compressed index.gmi. Even if it did I am not sure if the backbutton works at once, as now I also have to hit the back 4 times afterdownloading and displaying a gzipped gemtext.

It's not that I want a different compression codec as the usual suspects(zstd, gz, zip) all have similar ratios (40-50%), although i'd like themost efficient text compression code with a high speed decompression. Forexample ppmd with for example dictionary wrt preprocessing to get to ~25%.
