Yesterday's puzzle:

GRASSLAND was the pangram.

AGAR ALGA ALGAL DRAG GAGA GALA GALANGAL GALL GANG GANGLAND GARLAND GLAD GLAND GLANS GLASS GNARL GRAND GRANDAD GRANDDAD GRASS GRASSLAND LAGGARD LASAGNA RAGA RAGGA RANG SAGA SANG SLAG SLANG SNAG

I will start with the GLANS (from a Latin word meaning 'acorn'), my favorite part of the penis. The GLANS is not a GLAND, and is sometimes surrounded by Pearly Penile Papules. If you don't believe me, look it up for yourself. Also look up Purple Pecker Peter Pepper while you are at it.

I had a minor SNAG with SNAG. Due to a small anomaly with the game code, there must be a space after each word in the game file -- not an issue with autogenerated games. When I manually curate a game, sometimes I add a word and forget the space after, and it makes the last word not usable - SNAG in this case. Thanks, mozz, for pointing it out via /msg. I will fix it next year.

AGAR, originally agar-agar, is an ALGA, or an ALGAL substance.

GALANGAL is what makes Southest Asian cuisine delicious (and is a pretty plant).

It was a surprise to me that GRANDAD is an accepted spelling of GRANDDAD.

RAGGA however has nothing to do with RAGA (a kind of Indian music); according to Merriam-Webster: RAGGA is 'raggamuffin'. Sounds like bullshit, considering there is nothing to back that. Dictionary.com says it's a combination of reggae and rap, with an electronic or repetitive track. Sounds like more bullshit, but I will leave it in.

Things you can eat: LASAGNA, and sometimes AGAR, ALGA, GALANGAL, GLANS, and GRANDDAD.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope it will be better than this one.

Another year.
