Funny how that works. I bootstrapped nForth in 3 days (really two, but I had one really short day). Then yesterday I got almost nothing done, even though I worked hard at it.
I had to throw away my work with `git reset --hard` a couple of times because I kept ****ing up. It' just embarrassing - I have maybe 800 lines of assembly (with comments and some forth), and it took me most of the day to do absolutely nothing.
I was just trying to clean up and move OS calls from three places to one, and wound up screwing up the whole thing - more than once. It took me a while to remember a stupid thing I should not have done, hardwiring something that should be computed....
Well, as my old parter used to say, "You are stupid every day". Let's see how I am stupid today.
