I just had a COVID booster shot yesterday, and it made me a bit wacky: I decided in the middle of the game that MOON was left out. What? There is no N! Thanks, Evan, for sending me a /msg.

2021-12-07 solution: MLTHUF-O

FLOUT FOOL FOOT FOUL HOLT HOMO HOOF HOOT HULLO LOFT LOLL LOOM LOOT LOTH LOTTO LOUT MOLL MOLT MOOT MOTH MOTTO MOULT MOUTH MOUTHFUL THOU OUTFOOT TOFU TOLL TOLUOL TOMFOOL TOMTOM TOOL TOOT TOOTH TOOTHFUL TOUT

Pangram: MOUTHFUL.

HOTMOUTH is not a word. 'FOULMOUTH' is close, but it is not a word! 'FOULMOUTHED' is, but you can't make it with today's letters.

Left-out words. 'HOLT' (wood, wooded hill, burrow of an otter) should have been there. 'MUMU' was also left out, but I could not figure out what it is, and gave up. 'HOTFOOT' should have been there especially because it is 'a practical joke in which a match, inserted surreptitiously between the sole and upper of the victim's shoe, is lighted and allowed to burn down'. Yikes!

I LOTH (loath) the derrogatory usage of HOMO, but it does not have to mean that. Any of sapiens, erectus or habilis homonids will classify. But if it were derogatory, I would probably allow it anyway. Hey, MOLL is a (1) Prostitute (2a) DOLL sense 2 [girl] (2b) A gangster's girlfried, or as Tony Soprano would say, a 'gumar'.

OUTFOOT (outstrip, outrun) is a word, but sadly 'OUTHOOF' is not a word. There must be more OUT- words, but I did not catch any here.

Foods: TOFU is all, really. You could get a MOUTHFUL of FOOT or HOOF if you like that sort of thing, but... TOLUOL is a volatile hydrocarbon and a gasoline additive, usually refered to as 'TOLUENE' -- definitely not food.

HULLO, old stick. Enough of this TOMFOOLery, and onto my MOTTO:

Another day.
