Cato doesn't like IPFS

When running an IPFS daemon you should not have turned on Cato VPN.

In my job I often have to use the Cato VPN client to connect to company resources.

Now I already two times got a virus scan request from the IT department because

• my computer connected regularly to a "known bad site" and
• because my computer does "port scanning" on the Cato network

Of course the virus scan didn't find anything.

At the first incident I used my firewall to block access to the given IP address.

Two weeks later I got accused of doing port scanning.

Lessons learned:

• Cato does monitor your traffic and reports to your company. Possibly they even intercept and analyze the traffic.
• Don't use IPFS on the Cato network. P2P software seams to easily trigger their alarms.
