• Salaryman's Club |September 2022| I was worried this would be empty fan service but this is a well paced and lovely to watch sports anime that is able to reflect on more mature stories due to the adult character such as how injury, age and adult responsibilites affect athletes.
• Dance Dance Danseur |September 2022| An amazing show with a lot of passion behind it and actually made me excited about ballet. Incredibly camp too.
• Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 2 | May 2022 | Another great season with amazing world-building. Now onto season 3.
• Somali and the Forest Spirit | April/May 2022 | A magical piece of art. So gorgeous and something besides harem isekai in the modern anime fantasy genre is refreshing.
• Deca-dence | May 2022 | Completely unexpected and weird but I loved this.
• Strange Dawn | April 2022 | The strangest isekai I've ever seen. A downright deconstruction of the genre while predating modern isekai (2000). I still think about this and I'm not sure what I should be taking away from this.
• Hikaru no Go | April 2022 | A shonen jump classic involving a young child named Hikaru becoming a professional by the urgings of a go genius ghost. A rewatch and held up surprisingly well.
• Carole & Tuesday | May 2022 | A masterpiece. A potentially dystopian setting (Earth is basically dead with human life extending to Mars) but an optomistic outlook regarding two young women who compose their own music in an AI dominated industry.

• Requiem of the Rose King (Funimation) | May 2022 | This was so badly paced, and I also hate girl disguised as boy stories.
• Slam Dunk - not bad, but I'd rather watched this dubbed and there does not seem to be a complete English dub available.
