GARDAI have confirmed they are investigating an incident that took
place in the Pennywell area of Limerick city on Thursday morning.
While initial reports suggested there was an attempted break-in to
Garryowen Post Office, Gardaí are "not currently investigating a
robbery in relation to this incident".
In relation to the incident Gardaí confirmed they are "investigating
all the circumstances following reports of an incident in Pennywell,
Limerick at approximately 10am" on Thursday, June 15.
Enquiries are currently ongoing.
