Another day, another proof-of-concept server.
This is a very quick first attempt at the “fair” aggregator described in:
It polls upstream aggregators—currently just Antenna—once per day, displaying only the posts from yesterday.
I’ve no idea if this works in practice, let’s see. I plan on adding aggregators and otherwise tweaking the output until it matches what I like to read, then trying reading everything this way for a while to see if I prefer the forced slow cadence to the “live” versions.
Regardless, it’s another tool in my Gemini toolkit: client requests from the server.
So far today, 2023-06-16, feedback has been received 106 times. Of these, 97 were likely from bots, and 9 might have been from real people. Thank you, maybe-real people!
