Tommy Callaghan, 24 May
He may have been surplus to requirements for Kildare throughout 2023
but Naas star forward, Jack Sheridan, showed he has lost none of his
prowess when it comes to scoring when hitting an incredible 4-13 in
Tuesday evening's Cleaning Legends Senior Hurling League Division 1
clash with Confey at Naas GAA Headquarters.
Lining out at no. 14 Sheridan hit no less than 1-8 in the opening half,
with just one point coming from a placed ball, as his side led 2-13 to
0-7 at the break.
The second half saw no let up by either Sheridan, or Naas, as the no 14
went on to add 3-5 (1 penalty and one free) as Naas won on a massive
score line of 8-27 to 0-10.
