I really enjoyed reading this post. It's so well written. I was intrigued when you mentioned poetry, but I don't know the poets you have mentioned. I can only hope that your project/s brings much needed mental peace to you. (I am looking for such projects myself - probably, I'll strat working on my immortality project)

I also really enjoyed visually imagining your golden hour walks. The world does look slightly better when it's gilded by dusky tint. I hope to see more of you in this place.

Next time I post, I'll be sure to include selections from those poets. I'm thinking of embarking sometime or other on a sustained study of the work of Trakl in particular, so maybe I'll make a habit of posting some incidental clippings, especially where I can identify this or that particularly welcoming detail. (Although something tells me most of the pub's patrons would prefer the contemplative and grass-stained pilsner of Jim Harrison to the melancholiac Frenet of Georg Trakl.)

I know nothing of gin, so I appreciate this generous exposure. Salud.
