That sounds to "binge dieting" for me.

I'm preferring the "eat smaller portions more - or less (when possible) - often" approach.

Of course, most of the credit goes to The Midnight Pub, where the NOT javascript and/or advertising -infested content is generally top notch, worth replying to, and never far from fun-ly clever interaction.

Yes, M.p definitely has a "wit" and a "sharpness" to the patrons who participate here.

And in regards to "binge dieting" analogy to my (past) Internet hiatuses, it FELT more like I was just outright starving myself of stimulation and information. Nothing ever happened at any time ever, and it was damn near 24/7 navel-gazing - so I scratched that approach pretty quick, and logged back on. LOL!

It was a fair amount of time ago that I tried to go "offline", though, and while being simultaneously "hooked" (addicted) to social networks (2018, or so), it was like starving myself, while simultaneously trying to set a world record for how long I could hold my breath. Essentially, not worth it. So all odds of me ever trying to do that again are zero to none.

Small bites. Everything in moderation. Careful clicking ;)
