I popped on Twitch again for the first time in months, and it is just not my cup of tea any more. It's so obvious it's all geared to trap you on there. Yes, it's fun af, but gdi, we need to stop having fun for a little while.
YouTube is a bit different. Not sure how I feel about it still. I get so much info/inspiration from the vids people post there... and the live streams are much subdued compared to Twitch.
So what did I just do? I tried to put in gemini:// as a web addy in my Twitch profile, and got a big ol' red error lol ofc Twitch won't allow linking to alternative protocols. ugh
(nano's pretty neat and maybe other editors do this... the lines are independent of each others. it's weird to see the ones above not move as you type past the edge of the screen)
edit after the fact: gotta remember to open another terminal so I don't have to keep q-ing out of amfora
