Shortcuts to Happiness
This is an ongoing list of ways I can try to cheer myself up. Mileage may vary. Not meant for serious issues or to replace therapy/medication/etc.
- Turn off the sad music for five fucking minutes
- Go for a jog, it really helps
- Have a peanut butter & jelly sandwich
- Try to be kind
- Play a video game you like a lot
- Read an old journal entry
- Go walk or sit outside (if sunny)
- Listen to some punk rock
- Think about getting a new tattoo
- Remember there’s no afterlife
- Say you’re sorry and mean it
- Talk to a friend
- Write it out
- Listen to a good ska song
