Hi, re

you might want to check out my selection of lenses

micro 4/3 (mft) is a very versatile one. converters don't need to be optical, just do spacing (sometimes negatively, but without a mirror flapping inside that's possible, in case of small enough lenses and their mounts. that's the case in case of C-mount). And it's small enough for many C-mount lenses to project on most of its surface. APS-C are somewhat larger, right.
basically you can get C-mount lenses for CCTV very cheap on the internets, like on AliExpress straight from China, Fujian 25mm is very praised as an artistic fun thing. i was getting them for 20 to 100 PLN.
and there are all those vintage lenses, some radioactive like my industar. the mounts m42 and m43 are both neat with converters.
ofc those lenses don't autofocus, they need rotating the gripped focus ring, so it's good to have a body model that does Focus Peaking (showing red pixels where there is sharpness). some lenses like CS-mount lenses have the electronics but it's hard to make a converter for using that.
also having an E-PL1 i may add that it's very weak in medium-to-low lightning. Later Olympus PEN E-PL improved on that.
