Welcome to my new gemlog, where I post about all the shit that's interesting to me.
I had an old log at ctrl-c.club, but the laptop I used to write for that page had broken irreperably (not that I would try to crack through its screwless, waterproof shell to try and diagnose it). Since then I have switched to a refurbished ThinkPad x230 which should be far more durable and easier to repair if anything goes wrong. Big thanks to my boyfriend for hooking me up with this machine.
This article is also a sort of test of a new publishing workflow that I'm looking to set up. Since I was last on gemini, it seems that a new feed aggregator has surpassed CAPCOM in usability. Antenna seems to be more efficient, faster, and more used than CAPCOM. It's the place I've been doing the most reading, so it may end up the place where most of my publishing happens.
I also want to look into translating my posts to HTML to publish them on the normal web as well. This might not work as well, as my blogging style is kind of molded to the simplicity of the gemini format, but it would be nice to be able to send my irl friends a link to things I've written without having to also explain to them why they have to go to a weird proxy site to reach them.
Thats all I have for today, stay tuned for future updates.
