✍️ Formatting Conventions

Due to the limitations of the Gemtext format, the following formatting conventions are used:

• Title of artworks cannot be italicized, they’re wrapped in “quotations marks.”
• Any words that need to be emphasized—usually artwork titles—are wrapped in _underscores_.
• Footnotes are referenced via numbers in [square brackets] and listed at the bottom of the document.
