Yesterday's foray into almost civilisation was fun. I went to a couple 
of different pubs and stayed mostly dry. Lots of good beer was had and 
it was in great company. It reminded me how much I missed those 
moments of chatting nonsense around a table with friends. Today was a 
bit of a struggle with a foggy head. Not much got done..

I have been enjoying writing this phlog each day. It is mostly 
nonsense and I do not expect anyone to actually read it. However, the 
act of writing has been fun and I have found myself wanting to sit and 
write something. Not all of it appears somewhere but some does. 
Through attempting to write about the Natsu sumo tournament, I have 
realised how hard sports writing is. I keep repeating statements about 
x throwing y. In the end, I am just writing a line or 2 to capture the 
feel of the bout. It is still junk but I think I can see how to 
improve and do something different. Capturing the essence seems a 
direction. An even better thing about doing this phlog is that when I 
go to check all has worked, I end up reading several other phlogs. 
They are windows into another life, another perspective. We all need 
to see how others think, particularly when they are doing it for 
reasons other than financial gain.
