Update in suspected €11K Kildare cocaine haul case

An update was offered at Naas District Court in a suspected cocaine

haul case on Thursday, January 27 last.

The allegations relate to one Dylan Lennon, with addresses given as 12

The Crescent, Liffey Hall in Newbridge and 6 Kilbelin Close, also in

Newbridge.

On a previous court date in 2021, it was heard that the 26-year-old

being prosecuted for possessing the drug for the purpose of sale or

supply on April 21.

Garda John David Lynch told the court on the date in question that the

suspected drugs were found at an address in Bishopsland, Kildare town

at 7.10pm.

Allegation

Last year, it was reported that Mr Lennon posted a €5,000 bail cash

lodgement.

On the latest court date, it was alleged that Mr Lennon was also found

in possession of €2,800 worth of suspected cannabis.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to allow time for service of a

book of evidence to May 25.

He also remanded the accused on continuing bail.
