Death By Constipation
May 28, 2003

for each human
this hour beacons
when at last
crap is forsaken
constipation
in betwixt breakfast and lunch
ignored some minutes too long
watching per chance - flies upon the potato salad
because that and excrement are all they seem to go for
buzz buzzing in the heat and heady mayonnaise odor
perhaps anticipation for the bulge - modern man waves his hand
shooing flies with scat disapproval - some seconds prior to detonation
