remembering the language of morning beverage
implies awakening, that dark roast or smoked
one ��s liquid insurrection somehow lifts repose
delegating flavor towards some blackened afterthought
as though awake were disgruntled approach
shambling early, disquieting the horses in passing
cowpokes people-poked upright, beans on
leather and denim taking on campfire, releasing horse
awaiting the soon-sun in season, pillar hinting ice
drift-dirt crystal sucking starlight, jealous pass-back
still on track for coals to front, black circled wagons
all hallucination shifts, polished glass and steel
trafficking reflections on not-yet asphalt
alienation in sixty hertz, no panic in the cattle

but getting close

pouring in that boiled choir, voices been and coming
not drawing awake  �� drawing away, solar across the tongue
harboring cratered masts on empty, spear to require
matte liquid shifting those threads of agony not here yet

but getting close
