Blending Downwards

burn everything, soft and slow

fragrances people adore
regularly entail vengeance
gone awry, redirected, rendered pure
hints of campfires on the tongue
bleu cheese machinations with cardamom
food-centered ablutions swirling away
sea salt and whale hork agonies

some paucity of emotion
seeking turpentine sustenance
asphalt warded pine trees
up in arms, construction equipment
ripping decay, choking smoked middle distance
these artistic agonies thinned, applied
claiming  �� looks like Bob

smells like a theremin, soft and slow

some wavering pitch
hunting farms downwind
savoring fear ��s bestie, lanolin
scragging Sheepscot river tourists
salmon population recovering
parading rages of sweet and salt
claiming cod liver makes it better

reprisals geographic
blasting out ladderless dams
high alcohol, low vapor point
menthol electrically delivered
in homecoming scents pillaging
in horse-ruin dragged out endless
in nylon pocket fire adherence

huff heady exit, soft and slow
