Monsoon Season
February 19, 2022

today, in a moment of inhospitable anger
engaging in a fight with physics
seven contests against an immovable object
were spoken against, one upon another
a layer-cake of abject failure
bleeding at the knuckles

still arguing, participants declared
key to the matter was larger knuckles

moved, both wall and mountain fell aside
revealing untold treasures, at least assumed
avalanche devouring temple and grounds alike
rumbling only

moveable
