Mutual Jungles

when one ��s true love is presented as sealskin
tailored so fine, kicked twice in the café wax
sometimes it ��s just politeness, love, truly

you don ��t just let that beauty get scuffed

but let ��s sit us down to dine, finest baked fish
flakey and prime, some mead, some meat
let us have ourselves a conversation

you don ��t just let that assumption gather dust

that it be your will and mine, not obligation
then, up cliff above the sea, a small chalet
safe room discrete below, for you the only key

you don ��t retract self-sanctity for naught

that there be neither trap nor trappings
instead, in surety, in security, be true
where you might rest your brilliant cloak

you don ��t comply with what you do not want

then wandering below, and wandering above
well, love, that ��s the fun of it, mint tea and anchovies
warm fire by ocean cradle, sashimi and pizza

you don ��t give up the good life for the rut

and tailored so fine, of my own will, I lend mine
though I cannot doff this finest skin, be you welcome
let leopard and leopard twine divine  �� the right ones swim
