have you done enough with fitting
suiting to the kin, blending drape of fabric
tailoring of linen, covering impasses
embarrassing small lapses, eating all the bones
corner comfy snacks keeping rats from house and home
stainless, that good weaving, sparked clean of imperfection
to holiday insurrection, tails tucked up the chimney
cutlery from fingers in steel by the numbers
stored ever stone to center

closer to the wind

sweeping clear each pest unwelcome
drawing vest before black vestry
in symbol and in archery
each torch sweet flicker ��s majesty
rings upon the wine glasses, wings within those wine glasses
seventh crossed and bisected, senith night raised foremost
pocket to the jib ��s lean cut, cruiser at the forefront
graced elegant by furnace, astonishing no questions
an albatross at sunset wearing flame ��s reflection

closer to the wind

silent in the packet, run deeper in the sachet
tea gone to captivation, spoon a distant stirring
solidity in whirring limber cast unto the umber mast
to surveil one ��s own, to sail one ��s home
in finest evening sing, tales told to no-one
tucked up cambric curtain, veil to uncertainty
that plenty borders antimony, animosity stilled in tack
no likening to shriving, this comfort of becoming
reflection self-adaptive in the ever-love of living
