N Trails, One Path

when asked my orientation
I checked for fractured stars
but socked in on that old mountain
directionless paid stares
guessing only by the trail
having hiked the eastern side
muttered  �� likely westish
then meandered on beside

now down in Millinocket
where the logging trucks are born
some flagging dudes recall a form
so lost unto attraction as into colloid mist
missed by recognition threshold
massed in passed cognition
where a salutation soon was torn
from being out of recognition
