Week 1

Stitches:

• Floret Stitch
• Sedge Stich
• Blackberry Salad Stitch

Foundation Row

Ch 123.

• Row 1: skip first 3 sts, dc in 4th st. Dc in each st across. Turn.
• Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn.

Floret Stitch

Colour change, if desired.

• Row 3: Ch 1 (counts as sl st), *dc in next, sl st in next*, repeat from * across. Turn.
• Row 4: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn.
• Row 5 & 6: Repeat rows 3&4.

Sedge Stitch

Colour change, if desired.

• Row 7: Ch 1, (sc 2dc) in same st as ch 1, *skip 2 sts, (sc, 2dc) in next. Repeat across until 3 sts remain. Skip 2sts, sc in last. Turn.

• Row 8-11: Repeat row 7.

Blackberry Salad Stitch

Colour change if desired. Row 12+14 are the same colour, and row 13 is another.

• Row 12: Ch 3, dc in each st across, turn.
• Row 13: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1 and in next st. *dc5tog (bobble) in next, sc 3, repeat from * across ending last repeat after 2nd sc. Turn.
• Row 14: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn.

Week 2

Stitches:

• Arcade Stitch
• Extended Stitch
• Wattle Stitch

Arcade Stitch

Colour change, if desired.

• Row 15: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1 and next st. *Ch 3, skip 3 sts, sc in next 3. Repeat from * across until 5 sts remain. Ch 3, skip 3 sts, sc in last 2. Turn.
• Row 16: ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1, *skip next st 5 dc in ch-3 space, skip 1 st, sc in next. Repeat from * across. Turn.
• Row 17: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1, ch 2, skip 1 st, *sc in next 3, Ch 3, skip 3 sts, repeat from * across to last shell group. Sc in next 3, ch 2, skip 1 st, sc in last. Turn.
• Row 18: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in ch-2 space, *skip 1 st, sc in next, skip 1 st, 5 dc in ch-3 space. Repeat from * across ending after last ch-3 space. Skip 1 st, sc in next, skip 1 st, 2 dc in ch-2 space, dc in last (turning ch). Turn.
• Row 19: ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1 and in next st. *ch 3, skip 3, sc 3, repeat from * across until 5 sts remain. Ch 3, skip 3, sc last 2. Turn.
• Row 20: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1. Sc evenly across placing 3 sc in each ch-3 space. Turn.

Extended Stitches

Colour change, if desired. esc 1 colour, ehdc another.

• Row 21-22: Ch 1, esc in same st as ch 1 and each st across. Turn.
• Row 23-24: Ch 1, ehdc, in same st as ch 1 and each st across. Turn.

Wattle Stitch

Colour change.

• Row 25: ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in next, skip 2. Repeat from * across until 3 sts remain (sc, ch 1, dc) in next, skip 1, sc in last. Turn. (122 sts)
• Row 26-27: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1, (sc, ch 1, dc) in each ch 1 space across. Sc in last st. Turn. (122 sts)
• Note: when working this stitch on its own you would skip 2 sts instead of 1 before the final sc. I needed to change it to fit the stitches I had. This caused us to gain a stitch. We will even it back out to 121 in part 3.
