Is having a long domain name for a tilde is a bad idea?

@gnuserland That makes sense. The domain I've though of so far is something like this: undergroundlibrary.club . I've gotten domain sniped before so I'm afraid to share domain names I might buy now, lol. Currently I'm trying to think of something close to that being short as possible while still conveying the same ideas. · 1 year ago
having a long name is always a bad idea 😉
I decided to use Gnuserland just because sounds "original" but in IRC I ended up using "tgl" (lower case) only because "gl" was already token.
To avoid to have a larger URL I had to pay more for "gnuser.land", fortunately because the Registrar though it could be compelling for Realtors and Developers... 😆😆😆 · 1 year ago
