A couple of year ago Sega put on the market a remake of its famous 16-bit console Sega Megadrive/Genesis.
This is a smaller reproduction with the original hardware emulated on a SoC Arm; even though it has a good amount selected games, many important titles were left off.
However a group of hackers were able to develop a mod that allows to do many things like overclock the CPU or adding more games. This effort is known as "Project Lunar". · 10 months ago
