International building services engineering consultancy Norman Disney &

engineering expertise to deliver for its clients.
NDY's Dublin based Regional Director for NDY, Mike Arnold said that
along with driving the uptake of smart buildings technologies, the
company is helping its clients in Ireland and Europe to be world
leaders in decarbonisation of their buildings.
Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar
said that with the focus of this new venture being on Europe, the new
jobs highlight Ireland's EU membership and location as a hugely
important factor when attracting of FDI to our shores.
Meanwhile, Trailstone Group, a global energy and technology company,
also announced today that it plans to open a new office location in
Sligo.
It plans to create up to 20 jobs over the next three years for the
North West region and technology talent graduating from the Atlantic
Technological University Sligo.
Trailstone provides risk management, asset optimisation and energy
trading services to owners of renewable energy assets.
It said its Sligo office will be its seventh and newest office
location, with other offices located in the US, UK and Germany.
John Redpath, CEO of Trailstone, said that with the Government's robust
support of renewable energy and the proximity to top technical
universities, Sligo is a perfect place for it to expand and further its
mission of making sustainable energy sustainable.
Leo Varadkar said that Trailstone's work in the sustainability software
space is more important now than ever.
"We need to leave the planet in a better condition than we found it.
Renewable energy has a really important role to play, which is why
we've committed to transforming our electricity grid to 80%
renewables," he added.
