This is based off a recipe that Brutalmoose made in his air fryer wings video. I wrote it down in a binder because I found myself making it pretty often and didn't want to have to keep opening the video to remember how it's made. Here's the video for visual reference.
Chicken Wings - Air Fried vs Deep Fried! - Brutalmoose (Youtube)
1. Season the wings with salt and pepper.
2. Place the wings into a glass dish.
3. Try to cover all the wings in pickle juice first and then buttermilk.
4. Leave the wings in the fridge and let it brine all day (or at for an hour at least).
5. Fill a bowl with enough flour to coat each chicken wing.
6. Add in more salt and pepper along with the spices.
7. Take the wings out of the fridge and coat the wings in the flour mixture (use gloves, it gets sticky).
8. Put the breaded wings back in the fridge in a dry dish for ~30 minutes.
9. Heat the oil in the deep fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
10. Leave the wings in the fryer for about 10-15 minutes until brown.
11. Gently stir the wings around after a few minutes to keep them from sticking together.
12. When done, take the wings out and put them on a plate covered in paper towels and season with salt.
13. Slap some butter in a pan with your favorite wing sauce and leave on low heat.
14. Coat your wings by throwing them around the pan with tongs.
15. Cover wings with tin foil for 5 minutes.
