Fish hate me
Women hate me.
I live a secluded life,
Misery rams my sight as I tumble
From my wretched lodging of a boat.
My sack of meat crawls through the currents,
But the currents squelch its toil
Constraining it inside the chasm.
And thus She dawned,
The stellar glamor blinds me,
The Monarch of All Fish.
Her sermon reigning far and wide,
Mesmerizing my whole being :
"You hastily arrived once more,
So ill-fated yet foreseen,
You may join my jovial kingdom,
Of fish prowling over remnants,
Or you may fall outside the turf,
Join the loamy ones anew. "
I dredge for the meaning of my being.
All my fibers stare in awe,
As I try to reach for the speck of light.
It's all written in clear letters,
Floating stunningly above me :
"Kiss My Bass"
It was all so lucid,
Yet so far.
Perhaps I never desired a woman,
Fish, or even my aged truck.
The only thing indeed so needful,
Was my own self all along.
I buckle my vanity inside the truck.
As I proudly wear a cap saying :
"Kiss My Bass
Snagmaster"
