- First, everything is constantly under construction...
- I keep several FAQs related to technical aspect of guitar
playing. These are my responses to FAQs about which I think I have
useful knowledge. These are the evolution of my standard responses to
the newsgroup over the years.
- I have assembled digests of unedited useful FAQs and
posts from the past, chronologically ordered, and properly attributed.
Please note the following:
- If something of value was posted to the net, I informally assume
that permission is granted to archive it here. If I am mistaken
with respect to your posting, please inform me.
- I keep dates and names with these miscellaneous posts.
Much of this info is older, before I knew I would be maintaining FAQs and digests.
I worry that the date/author info has been inadvertently munged (but I don't think it has).
My apologies if you do not get appropriately acknowledged, please let me know.
- When I started, I only kept posts what were interesting to me. Now,
that I have www'd these digests, I try to keep technical posts that fit the
theme of the digests. I only include new information; I rarely include
inflamatory postings as their archival could only serve to embarass the author.
Fortunately for the internet community, there is a direct and distinct correlation between
valuable information and the quality of presentation in all postings.
This simplifies things.
- Some FAQs are created and maintained by other people and the most recent
version I have seen is included here for your convenience. I can
not guarantee that this is the absolute latest version.
- I make no representation that this information will be useful to you,
or that it is technically correct. It is simply a compendium of
net wisdom that I have found useful.
- Most information is in textual ascii form. This enables users
with minimal knowledge and configurations to easily get the data.
- The review form is here - please contribute a review!
